Dan Antopolski is an award-winning comedian and comic actor. 2017 has already been an exciting year for Dan, as he returned to the Edinburgh Festival with a brand new stand up show after a 7 year hiatus. ‘The Return of the Dan Antopolski’ received fantastic reviews, including **** from The Sunday Times and The List, and a spot in The Guardian’s ‘Top 10 Jokes of the Fringe’. For his previous shows Dan has received Perrier Award Nominations both for Best Newcomer and Best Show. He also won the BBC New Comedy Award and in 2009 he won the Dave Best Joke Award. He has performed at the biggest international comedy festivals with appearances at Montreal, Melbourne and New York. Dan’s TV appearances have included The Stand-up Show (BBC1), Dan performed as one third of critically acclaimed sketch group Jigsaw, alongside Tom Craine and Nat Luurtsema. They enjoyed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, headlined Sketchorama (BBC Radio 4), were series regulars on Live At The Electric (BBC3), and recorded two series of their own show, Jigsaw, for BBC Radio 4. His current show, Empire, a comedy show based on the history of the British Empire in India, has played in 12 cities worldwide and been called “Spectacular” by CNN and “A laugh riot with brilliant ideas” by NDTV. Anuvab is the only Indian stand-up comedian after Russel Peters to sell out The Gotham Comedy Club in New York in record time. He’s also the only Indian comedian invited to perform at Harvard University. Lisa Curry is a Los Angeles-based comedian and writer. She began her comedy career as part of Second City Hollywood’s house improv ensemble, and now performs standup nightly around L.A.. Between 2014 and 2015, Lisa completed two national standup tours, ‘Walk of Shame Tour’ and ‘Road Kill Comedy Tour’. In early 2017, Lisa was profiled by PBS for their docu-series, ‘Angeleno.’ In July, she completed her second run of headlining shows across the U.S.. Immediately following her Summer Tour, Lisa landed a staff writing job on ‘Trivial Takedown’ on Fuse and is now a staff writer on TruTV’s ‘Comedy Knockout’. As a writer, Lisa has helped to develop three original series and wrote an ad campaign for Comedy Central. She divides her time between Los Angeles and New York, where she often works with Lady Parts Justice and is a correspondent for State of Mind Media. Most recently, Lisa performed on the four-time Emmy Award-winning ‘The Mystery Hour’ at the legendary Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, Missouri. Her work is best described as dark and socio-political.
