ROBIN MORGAN at Monkey Business Comedy Club
Multi Award-winning Welsh stand-up, writer and warm-up artist based in London. ROBIN MORGAN On stage he is "wonderfully cheeky and engaging" (Three Weeks), and is "a phenomenal comic - utterly hilarious" (Broadway Baby). He performed his debut hour show at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival, receiving glowing reviews including ★★★★ from the Sunday Times. The show was later adapted into a half-hour recording for BBC Radio Wales, as 'Robin Morgan: Proposes'. Robin is also a seasoned comedy writer for television and radio, with credits including Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Blind Date (C5), The News Quiz, The Now Show, Rich Hall's US Election Breakdown and Spotlight Tonight with Nish Kumar (BBC R4), amongst others. In 2018, BBC Radio Wales commissioned two of Robin's sitcoms: 'Home', broadcast in late 2018, and 'Relocation', due to be broadcast in 2019. He is also a television warm-up artist for The Graham Norton Show (BBC One), Blind Date (C5), Sam Smith At The BBC (BBC One), The Imitation Game (ITV), Celebability (ITV2) and Don't Make Me Laugh (BBC R4).

DELEA SHAND  at Monkey Business Comedy Club
bonkers musical act DELEA SHAND Hailed by the Albany Times Union as, “Especially impressive.... even while delivering some swooping and percussive vocal affects,” soprano Delea Shand sings everything from opera, new music, musical theatre and comedy. Since moving to London in 2015, she's performed several times as a soloist with the Central Band of the Royal British Legion, with Bafta award winning conductor David Cole. Recently, she devised and performed in Ancient Voices of Women, a concert of music for solo voice by female composers. With support from Mothers Who Make and Arts Council England, Delea is developing graphic scores in collaboration with her children. She has also performed with the new music ensembles New London Chamber Choir and the Vocal Constructivists. Recently, Delea started performing stand up comedy on the open mic circuit in London, where she sings opera and plays the accordion. Operissima called her act, "Brilliantly memorable." She's headlined at G&B comedy and Sam Rhodes Comedy Explosion. She's taken several puppet making courses at the Little Angel Theatre and was a puppeteer for the Arcola's production of Bluebeard's Castle, as part of the Grimeborn Opera Festival.
